Apprenticeship |

Training is the foundation upon which our Union is built. All members are eligible and encouraged to participate in all apprenticeship training courses. Each program is intended to maximize productivity, quality, safety, and opportunity. The apprenticeship program has evolved to meet the needs of the construction industry. An apprentice with OPCMIA Local 919 will learn the skills and knowledge of the trade through a combination of on-the-job training and related classroom instruction. This approach to training allows a young person to advance quickly while becoming an ever increasingly productive member of the crew.
